Some gardens are beautiful, some are alive. This one is both.

The Wild Wellness Retreat is a garden that feels like a wild retreat – a compact outdoor sanctuary where natural stone, living water and hand-crafted materials come together to create something that has never been seen at a major exhibition show before. No chemicals. No compromise. No vast grounds required.

At its heart is the Eco-Spa™ – the UK's first compact, above-ground natural plunge pool – a product that sits between two worlds. It has the accessibility and footprint of a hot tub and the ecological integrity of a full natural swimming pond. It is neither, and it is better than both.

The Eco-Spa™: Compact, Chemical-Free, Mineral Rich

Water is kept pristine not by chemistry, but by biology – a carefully engineered living system of volcanic lava rock, British limestone, aquatic plants and a thriving community of microscopic organisms that work in continuous balance. As water moves through the regeneration zone it is mineralised naturally by dolomitic limestone, absorbing calcium and magnesium until it reaches something remarkable: water as balanced and gentle as a human tear. Soft on the skin. Quiet on the senses. Genuinely restorative.

Eco-Spa Image

The Eco-Spa™ is available in two editions. The Original follows the seasons – ambient outdoor temperature, naturally cool, exactly as nature intended. The Ember Edition adds full smart temperature control – cooled to 8°C for serious cold water immersion, or warmed to 29°C for a deep mineral soak on the coldest January morning. The same chemical-free, living water. One product. Every season. Come and visit The Wild Wellness Retreat for a deep dive into the world of living water.

The Sauna

Positioned beside the Eco-Spa™, the sauna completes the retreat's hot-cold wellness circuit. Its dry heat boosts circulation, reduces stress and offers benefits similar to moderate exercise. The cold plunge or mineral soak that follows drives a powerful circulatory response — flushing the lymphatic system and producing a deep sense of calm that most people have never felt before. Together, they are more effective than either alone.

Sculptures by Lorcan O'Byrne

The garden's carved timber pieces – a monumental hand-carved tree trunk bench and a series of abstract sculptures – are the work of Lorcan O'Byrne, an emerging wood carver created exclusively for this project. Part craft, part art, entirely unique. These are the pieces that give the Wild Wellness Retreat its sense of permanence and depth – the reason the space feels like somewhere rather than something

Furniture by Revive Innovations

The garden features bespoke tables, stools, and interior pieces by Revive Innovations, a Bristol-based circular design studio. Revive specialise in engineering unwanted wastes into premium recycled materials, the studio's signature RE-CD surfaces are crafted entirely from recycled CDs - fused without any resins or binders, using only heat and pressure. Having produced custom furniture, parts and architectural surfaces for clients such as Netflix, BBC and even a Chrysler concept car, these highly textured and genuinely sustainable pieces sit perfectly in keeping with the ethos of the retreat.

Bespoke Table and Benches by Rag & Byrne

The garden's consultation table invites visitors to sir with the Natural Craft team and explore ideas – from Eco-Spa's to full natural swimming lakes or complete outdoor transformations. Crafted from locally sourced timber by Rag & Byrne, each table is handmade by Tom Byrne in Kent. As a Guild of Master Craftsmen member, his work is built to last generations – a perfect reflection of Natural Craft's values: honest materials, skilled hands, made to endure.

Timber Supply by Aztech Group

Every piece of timber used in the Wild Wellness Retreat – from benches to sculptures and structural elements – is sourced from Aztech Group in Sevenoaks, Kent. They manage the entire process on-site, from felling and planking to storing and drying, ensuring fully local and sustainable materials. For Natural Craft, their transparency and expertise made them the natural choice. Alongside timber supply, Aztech also provide arboriculture, forestry, and tree consultancy services across London and the Home Counties.

Hazel Hurdle Panels & Statement Planters by Woven Wood

The boundary of the retreat is formed by hazel hurdle panels – each one woven by hand from sustainably coppiced hazel rods in a tradition stretching back to the Iron Age. Each panel carries natural variation and warmth that factory-made fencing can't replicate. Supplied by Woven Wood – specialists in natural timber – alongside statement planters from their sister company Planters.co.uk, the boundary is brought to life with rich, seasonal planting.
