As one of the inspiring garden spaces surrounding the life-sized Ideal Home, the NEW Bark Yard invites visitors to explore how outdoor areas can be both beautiful and enriching for dogs, with their welfare and natural behaviours at the heart of the design.
Delivered in partnership with Dogs Trust and created in collaboration with our experts, The Style Makers, this concept garden brings together canine wellbeing and considered design. With guidance from Dogs Trust helping to shape a space that supports dogs’ safety, comfort and natural instincts, The Style Makers have ensured the result remains effortlessly stylish and inspiring for homeowners.
The space demonstrates that you don’t have to compromise on aesthetics to create a garden that works for every member of the family, including four-legged ones - brought to life with the help of carefully selected brand partners.
While furry friends can’t attend the show, visitors will discover plenty of practical, design-led ideas to take home for them.

Explore The Bark Yard
Yappy Hour - Hydration & Treat Station
Designed as a playful refreshment spot, Yappy Hour brings together hydration, treats and social moments for dogs throughout the day. A stylish setup featuring a raised feeding station with a ceramic double bowl feeder sits alongside practical accessories like a bone rope feeding mat and a ceramic dog treat jar.
Thoughtful details such as a melamine feeding scoop and bamboo feeding scoop keep things practical, while enrichment continues with a slow-feeder lick mat.
For a well-earned reward, dogs can enjoy indulgent treats like hand-decorated dog doughnuts and canine cupcakes, alongside a range of natural dog treats and nutritious dry food options.
Doggie Gym - Play & Enrichment Area
Created to encourage movement and mental stimulation, the Doggie Gym is packed with playful features that support dogs’ natural instincts. A wooden dog agility set forms the centrepiece, paired with a ball pit filled with lightweight play balls.
Interactive toys including a snuffle ball, snuffle mat and rope toy multipack encourage engagement, while classics like a ball launcher and tennis ball set keep energy levels high.
Durable options such as a natural rubber ball, squeak football toy and a Kevlar plush octopus toy ensure there’s something for every play style, alongside fun additions like a flamingo soft toy and fruit-shaped toys.
Storage is kept neat with a rope toy storage box, while smaller options like a latex ball toy complete the space.
Pooch Parlour - Grooming & Care Zone
The Pooch Parlour focuses on everyday care, offering practical solutions for washing, grooming and keeping dogs comfortable. A dedicated wash area features The Incredible Dog Shower, making it easy to rinse off after outdoor play.
Drying and grooming are supported with essentials like a microfibre towel and a double-sided grooming brush.
A selection of shampoos, including lavender and chamomile dog shampoo, oatmeal shampoo and conditioning formulas help maintain coat health, alongside options like shea and honey shampoo and flea and tick repellent shampoo.
Paws & Relax - Rest & Comfort Zone
Designed as a calm retreat, Paws & Relax offers a peaceful space for dogs to unwind. A cosy setup includes a wooden garden bench layered with soft furnishings like striped outdoor cushions and a comfortable pet bed.
Soft textures continue with a bouclé pet blanket, while nearby a shaded wooden sandbox daybed creates a relaxed lounging area.
Selfie Wall - Photo Moment
The Selfie Wall provides a playful, Instagram-worthy moment within the Bark Yard, designed for visitors to capture memories of their day. A simple yet stylish backdrop is paired with a freestanding clothes rack displaying accessories such as a floral dog collar, sparkle bow collar and rhinestone collar.
Playful additions like a dog bucket hat and paw print hat add personality, while finishing touches such as a cooling vest and bowtie accessory complete the look.
Bringing It All Together
The space is unified through thoughtful design details, including the use of rose-toned exterior wood paint to add warmth and personality throughout. Functional additions such as a compact garden bar and soft finishing touches like cotton bath towels help create a space that is both practical and visually engaging.

Meet Réli Farjon and Laurie Davidson, the creative powerhouse behind 'The Bark Yard’. With 30+ years’ combined experience shaping homes, they bring artistry, intuition and trend-savvy expertise.
“We’re thrilled to be designing a one-of-a-kind Bark Yard just for dogs. Inspired by the vibrant energy of a Miami Beach club, it’s a playful, stylish space where pups can lounge, socialise and be pampered - complete with a dog spa, chic ‘bar’ area and cosy day-bed for resort-style living.”
The duo have styled for brands including Dunelm, Wayfair, Tesco, Ikea and La Redoute, and contributed to some of the UK’s most loved home titles.
