At just 15 years old, Simon dreamed of becoming a chef. But fate had something even sweeter in store. A temporary job at Squirrel Horn, a local sweet factory in Stockport, sparked a lifelong passion for confectionery. Simon's talent and thirst for knowledge didn't go unnoticed. 

He was offered the opportunity to train across the UK and Europe, immersing himself in the art of chocolate-making. 

It was during this time-especially a pivotal chapter in Germany-that his chocolate story truly began. 

Returning home inspired, Simon began crafting chocolates from his kitchen. As word spread and demand grew, he took the leap at age 25, leaving full-time work to follow his dream and establish Simon Dunn Chocolatier.

Today, the handcrafted chocolates are available exclusively from the charming High Lane shop or via the website. 

Simon still uses his original recipes and techniques-because some things are too good to change. Every batch is made fresh daily in small quantities, in his shop where you can watch the magic unfold.
