Since buying her first family home in 2020, Orima has been a keen interiors enthusiast and loves documenting and her DIY and home renovation journey on her social media channels (Instagram: @alittledetached)

Orima would describe her interiors style as "Muted Maximalism" and enjoys bringing lots of earthy toned colours and patterns to her decor, along with a blend of classic and modern features usually self-made or upcycled where possible. Her recreation of a daytime sky painted on her nursery ceiling won her the "Best Showstopping Home Feature" Award at the 2025 ufurnish.com Awards and her home has been featured in several interiors publications.

When she is not dabbling in home decor Orima is a Mental Health Doctor, mother of two (three if you include the spaniel!), and wife to accidentally accomplished DIYer, Joel.
