Nichola McKerrow Todd is the Founder and Principal Designer of No Ordinary House, a London-based interior design studio specialising in thoughtfully guided residential renovations with a strong focus on wellbeing. With a background in architecture and marketing, Nichola is known for combining design expertise with clear, grounded communication — supporting clients both practically and emotionally throughout complex projects. Her work is characterised by a calm, layered aesthetic, biophilic influences, and the considered use of natural materials to create homes that feel restorative, balanced, and deeply personal. Having experienced major renovations personally as well as professionally, she understands the uncertainty and decision fatigue homeowners often face, and brings structure, reassurance, and clarity to each stage of the process. Her work has received industry recognition, including being a runner-up at the ufurnish Awards and a finalist for the British Home Awards. She is the creator of Living Through a Renovation, a guide designed to help homeowners feel steadier and better prepared as they navigate ambitious home transformations.
