Clare Balding
Clare Balding is one of the UK’s most respected broadcasters and authors, known for her warm presenting style and wide-ranging work across television, radio, and publishing. She has been a prominent face of BBC Sport for many years, covering major events including the Olympic Games, Wimbledon, Royal Ascot and Crufts, and has also hosted a variety of documentary and entertainment programmes. In addition to her broadcasting career, Clare is a bestselling author, writing both adult and children’s books, and is widely admired for her storytelling and advocacy work.
A passionate dog lover, Clare has a long-standing association with Dogs Trust, supporting the charity’s mission to care for and rehome dogs in need and helping raise awareness of responsible dog ownership. Clare will be visiting The Ideal Home Show on behalf of Dogs Trust, will be speaking alongside experts from Dogs Trust on the Main Stage at 12:20 on Friday 10 April. After the talk Clare will be in Bark Yard, signing copies of her Pastures New and Isle of Dogs.
