Abbey Brown is an interiors and lifestyle content creator, DIY educator, and the creator behind @casacrank. Over the past five years, she has renovated her three bedroom semi-detached home, sharing budget friendly transformations, honest renovation updates, and practical tutorials with a community of more than 700,000 followers.

Her journey began in 2019 with a dated two bedroom flat and a determination to build a home she truly loved. Having learned hands on skills from her dad and late grandad, she now shares that knowledge through her popular series, Teaching YOU What My Dad Taught ME, breaking DIY down into simple, confidence building steps.

Known for her earthy interior style, she blends colour psychology, upcycling, and antique finds to create layered, characterful spaces. She champions achievable design, proving beautiful homes are built on creativity, not limitless budgets.

Abbey won the Overall Public Vote at the 2025 Ufurnish Awards, works with leading brands including B&Q, Lick, Rust-Oleum, Annie Sloan, Wagner, NEXT, B&M and British Gas, and has presented multiple Omaze million-pound homes across the UK.

Neurodivergent and proudly creative in her thinking, she believes that if you can picture it, you can build it, and continues to inspire others to design boldly and DIY with confidence through her content and upcoming business, Crank Your Space.
