From Inspiration to Action: DIY Takes Centre Stage at the Ideal Home Show
If you're feeling inspired to update your home this spring, Ideal Home Show is the place to start. This year, the show puts DIY firmly in focus, encouraging visitors to gain the confidence and skills to create a home that feels truly personal.
One of the standout features at the show is the brand-new DIY Live Stage, where a line-up of trusted DIY experts share easy to follow demonstrations throughout the day. Wayne Perrey, Briony Ace, Rob Bent, Georgina Burnett and Scott DIY lead sessions designed to make everyday DIY feel achievable and enjoyable.

Visitors can pick up practical skills such as using a combination drill with confidence, tackling flat-pack furniture, choosing the right wall fixings and making simple lighting upgrades. There's also plenty of inspiration for creative and sustainable projects, from upcycling tired furniture to budget-friendly ideas that deliver high-impact results at home.
For those who love adding decorative touches, Ideal Home Show also offers a series of creative workshops. Visitors can explore decorative lampshade projects, from hand-painted finishes to elegant pleated designs, or create hand-finished picture frames – perfect for enhancing favourite photos or artwork.

As part of the Blue Monday Sale, visitors can enjoy £10 off ALL workshops until 2pm on the 21st January, making it the perfect moment to book and get creative this spring.
With hands-on experiences, expert advice and plenty of take-home inspiration, Ideal Home Show makes DIY feel accessible, rewarding and fun. It's all about helping visitors turn ideas into reality – and enjoy the process along the way!
