The Cooks’ Academy

Home to knife and kitchenware brand Flint & Flame, the Cooks’ Academy is the place to head if you fancy getting a new food preparation skill under your belt.

From basic knife skills to filleting fish and preparing sushi, there’s something for everyone, from beginner’s to more practised home cooks.

Learn to dice like a pro, hone those Julienne and Chiffonade skills or sharpen your butchery skills with a lesson in French trimming.

Artisan Producers Market

Enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of a street market at the heart of London’s Olympia.

This gathering of artisan producers provides a space where you can sample and buy unusual ingredients and quality produce that you can take away and try at home.

Recent crowd pleasers have included the famous quiches from Hush Hush Chefs and must-have sauces by Must Chup, Wiltshire Chillies, Nonya Secrets and Yorkshire Drizzle.

The prize for the longest queues for cakes and sweet treats went to Lily’s Place, Thomas Cookie Co and Mydorable with Rose Cottage Drinks and The Cherry Berry Co providing a sought-after selection of seriously summery beverages.

Lowdown on Lunch

When it comes to a spot of lunch, you will never have been this spoiled for choice. But the choosing is the hardest thing you’ll have to do all day.

Try The Great Eat for fabulous around-the-world flavours and cuisines, with everything from Indian to Italian and burgers to bavarois on the menu.

Stop off at the Claw stall for crab and lobster stall for crab and lobster from Favis in Salcombe or trout from the chalk streams of Hampshire. Claw’s crab brioche roll is the perfect size for light-lunching on the go.

For pud, head to the Yorica vanvan and feast your eyes on the free-from ice creams and fro-yos in a dizzying variety of pick-and-mix flavours and toppings.

Late Night Thursdays

Every Thursday, Eat & Drink Festival turns into a buzzing hub of nightlife.

The country’s top street food vendors serve up plates of deliciousness until 9pm, including majestic burgers and fries, delicate and delicious sushi and Italian scrumptiousness.

Enjoy top snifters from some of our excellent exhibitors and experts at the Drinks Station.

Why not pick a Thursday and put it in your diary for an after-work drink? Then relax against a backdrop of live music performed by London’s finest new street musicians and artists.

The Rose Club

Spring is in the air and the lighter evenings are upon us. Raise a glass to the warmer weather and extended evenings at The Rose Club, on-site a Olympia London throughout the Eat & Drink Festival.

Rose wine hasn’t had much of a look in thanks to its sharper elbowed red and white cousins, but now rose wine is beginning to enjoy its day in the sun.

Rose Club offers 50 Shades of Rose to sample – each with its own fabulous flavour, perfect for springtime quaffing.

The Foodie Stage is the community hub of Eat & Drink Festival and it’s where all the live demonstrations take place.
