Cyrus was born and brought up in Bombay. After a brief stint in Australia, he moved to London to run the Namaste restaurant, where he developed his trademark style of blending traditional Indian techniques and flavours with innovative ingredients. He now has two award-winning restaurants and a cafĂ©. He is a regular on radio and on TV programmes such as Food and Drink, Saturday Kitchen, Channel 4’s Light Lunch and MasterChef.
