A bold monochrome theme is the crux of Kate and Jessica’s Good Homes bathroom. Stripped back and utilitarian, the wow-factor will not come from the accessories or furniture – but the walls. A multitude of differently shaped tiles will be brought together in a geometric collage, introducing a riot of pattern – but with the glorious simplicity that only an all-white palette can offer.
Outlined with dark grey grout, it will demonstrate how using – and celebrating – just one material can make a powerful impact. Elsewhere, an adjacent almost-black wall intensifies the tiled wallscape and white sanitaryware, and structured rattan furniture introduces a few sweeping, curved lines to the otherwise angular storage solutions. An oversized statement mirror hangs over twin white basements, and traditional washing accessories in wood and tin, alongside neat piles of linens, are the perfect finishing touch in this head-turning “beautility” bathroom.
