Royal Marsden Hospital fire
As part of The Daily Mail Ideal Home Show’s centenary celebrations in 2008, we are delighted to have The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign as our nominated charity and we are looking forward to raising a substantial sum towards helping them expand and improve their services.
As a result of the serious fire that in early January damaged this important hospital in London’s Fulham Road (close to our traditional venue in Earls Court), the help that we – and – you can give is more important than ever.
At the Royal Marsden, they’re not afraid of cancer. They learn about it, talk about and most of all, use cutting-edge techniques to treat it. They’ve been doing everything they can to help improve their patients’ survival rates – whether it’s new drug therapies and better equipment or facilities.
Despite the fire the Royal Marsden is keen to reassure people that it’s business as usual and that the fire should not jeopardise their current fundraising efforts. So they are even more grateful to people who wish to give to current or future appeals.
Anything the Daily Mail Ideal Home Show can do to raise extra money is worthwhile, and we wish to encourage all visitors to our website to make some sort of donation, however small, to enable this world class cancer hospital to continue in its ground breaking work.
