Ideal Home Show looks to the future

For some time we have felt that a mass market appeal show like Ideal Home would profit from becoming overtly ‘media neutral’-that is, not absolutely aligned with any one publication or medium. Having just celebrated the centenary of the Daily Mail’s inception of the original Ideal Home Exhibition, both the Daily Mail and we, the organisers at dmg world media, have decided that now is an appropriate time to make that change and exclude the newspaper’s title from our logo.

We are delighted, however, that the Daily Mail and other papers within the Associated stable, the Evening Standard, Metro and London Lite will continue to support the show, especially in terms of coverage. dmg world media is a sister company of the newspaper business within the Daily Mail and General Trust portfolio. The benefit of this change is that we can reach a wider audience through a range of new sponsors or media partners including other newspaper titles.
