Century Street is big hit
Visitors to Century Street, a celebration of 100 years of the Show and a nostalgic tour of the last century were unanimous in their praise for the feature. Mrs Cuff of Bucks said, “It was really interesting – we spent ages reminiscing and it was great fun to show the children some of the things we played with when we were small and they enjoyed reminding us of the toys we bought for them as kids!.”
Mrs Winder of Herts said, “The rooms were fascinating and it’s amazing how things have changed in such a short time.” Visitor Henry Sugden, aged 12 years said, “I liked seeing the toys and games and the rooms from the past. The cars were great too!”
Make sure you visit Century Street – it’s completely free and a great exhibit for all the family.
