Ideal Home Show 1947
1947 marked the return of the Ideal Home Show after the end of the Second World War. A time of readjustment, the show was designed to help speed the recovery process. With rations, restrictions and shortages still in effect made staging the show difficult but it also proved to be an inspiration to visitors, simply owing to the lack of materials available.
